World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 launch in Brussels

Helsinki EU Office along with World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 are launching the World Design Capital year in EU’s capital Brussels on the 24th of January.

The event will include a fashion show by Finnish fashion designer Jasmin Santanen (www.jasminsantanen.com) and a ‘Kristian Art’ photo exhibition (www.kristian-art.com).

Style magazine named Jasmin Santanen among the ten most promising fashion designers in 2008. In 2009 her summer collection was awarded with the Elle Style award for best collection. Santanen’s fashion has become well known for combining Nordic simplicity with Parisian elegance.
